Glenwood Cottages Retreat began as part of my own healing journey.

Creating this space wasnt just about building cottages - it was about learning how to breathe again, find comfort in the process and turn difficult days into something hopeful.

Each step of developing Glenwood Cottages Retreat taught me the importance of Rest, warmth and time - time to slow down, reflect, recover and feel safe.

At Glenwood Cottages Retreat, our vision is simple — to provide a peaceful and restorative space where every guest can slow down, reconnect with nature, and leave feeling renewed.

I believe everyone deserves a place to rest, heal and find stillness. Glenwood Cottages Retreat is that place.

My name is Sarah, and together with my mum Jenni, I have spent the last few years lovingly building Glenwood Cottages Retreat from the ground up. With 20+ years in hospitality and tourism industry placing all my experience and creativity into Glenwood Cottages Retreat has been an amazing experience so far.

This property is more than just a retreat — it is a sanctuary born from a deeply personal journey. Five years ago, I faced a cancer diagnosis that changed my life forever. Now in remission, I can honestly say that this land and the peace it holds played a central role in my own healing journey.

It is from that experience that has inspired me to create a place where others can come to rest, breathe, and truly reconnect.

My Vision

I love contributing to Jenni and Sarah’s dream to provide a tranquil, peaceful place for people to come and retreat.

Being tasked to create and maintain the greenscapes brings me joy.

For me as a farmers daughter coming from broad acre cropping and beef production my love for the outdoors runs deep.

My Vision

To me, Glenwood Cottages Retreat isn’t just a workplace. It’s my home too, and being able to watch it grow into a place for others to come and enjoy has been a really wonderful experience so far.

Growing up here, Glenwood Cottages Retreat wasn’t just a place—it was home.

I’m the son and grandson of Sarah and Jenni, and I’ve grown up on this property for as long as I can remember, even before the retreat was officially founded.

I’ve been working on-site since I was in school. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve gained skills along the way—especially with the tractor and bobcat, as well as landscaping and caring for the grounds.

I am so blessed to be a part of

this wonderful family and look forward to my future endevours.
